Workplace Fundraising
Workplace Fundraising
There are so many opportunities for businesses and employees to get involved with fundraising for the Peter Pan Centre. The sky is the limit in terms of what you can do – and your support will not only help our children and families but it will bring a wealth of benefits to your workplace too – such as developing teamwork skills, improving employee wellbeing, demonstrating your commitment to your community and strengthening your brand’s image. We love building mutually beneficial partnerships with our local business community.

Staff Fundraising
Be as creative as you want and use your staff’s skills to have a blast
while fundraising. Office Olympics, dress down days, crazy tie days, quizzes, swear jars – you choose!
Gifts in Kind
Offering goods or services free-of-charge rather than cash donations help us reduce our costs.
Event Sponsorship
sponsoring one of our events gives your business fantastic publicity whilst allowing more money to go directly to supporting our vulnerable children.
Attending Peter Pan Centre events & campaigns
Why not sign up to one of our challenges as a team or attend something like our annual Golf Day and have a fantastic day out teambuilding, meeting like-minded people and raising essential funds for the charity.
Payroll Giving
You can give to charity, straight from your salary each payday before
tax, so it is the easiest, most tax-efficient way for staff to make donations. If you choose to donate £10 for example, only £8 comes out of your salary. The tax system pays the rest.
Match funding
Employers can often match staff fundraising pound for pound depending on what company policy is.
Charity promotion
We benefit hugely from other people talking about what we do to their
contacts, so if you can refer us to customers and clients then they may be interested in supporting us too! Why not also share your stories in your newsletters and on your website.
Volunteering
Your time and skills are incredibly valuable, so we are always looking
for volunteers to support us at events, offer expert advice, help with building maintenance or administrative tasks. These opportunities are great ways to build staff morale, have fun and give something back to your local community.
Local Support at its Best

Our relationship with the Peter Pan Centre began with a simple insurance review. During our conversation, they mentioned their struggle to fill their annual golf day. Recognising an opportunity to contribute, we rallied our network of friends and clients, successfully filling the event and raising vital funds. Inspired by this initial success, our team embraced the spirit of giving. For example, the whole team donated the cost of their Christmas meal. Lesley, our Client Manager, took on a sponsored swim, raising over £1,000. Dawn Cotton, another valued team member, made a bold statement by shaving her head in the office, raising an incredible £4,000.
We also embraced creative fundraising efforts. A “World Book Day” fancy dress event brought joy and raised funds, while our second golf day surpassed expectations. Looking ahead we can’t wait to continue our partnership with Peter Pan, we’re excited to announce our plans for a Charity Ball to not only generate significant funds but also serve as a platform to celebrate the charity’s invaluable contributions to the community.
Our support for the Peter Pan Centre also extends beyond fundraising. We offer our time as volunteers whenever possible, contributing our skills and expertise to their initiatives. We also actively promote them within our business community, encouraging others to join us in supporting their noble causes. We are proud to be a founding member of the Peter Pan Centre’s Champions Club, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to the charity. Their dedication to making a positive impact aligns perfectly with our company’s values, and we’re honoured to be associated with such a remarkable organisation.” Peter Lycett, Commercial Director.
